Our Vision is to make a positive impact on the communities of Becker & Big Lake. The facility will have the ability to host events in many areas, including our hockey program and will bring participants to the area which will benefit local economies. Being a center which may be utilized in all seasons allowing our great cities to see increased traffic and an expansion in visibility outside the community.
Conveniently located between Highway 10 and NorthStar rail corridors in the Big Lake Marketplace Development. This is a high visibility area that will attract corporate sponsors and generate interest in our program. Centrally located among many associations, clubs & committees that would have interest renting ice time and other facility uses from us.
Ground can be broken on the facility once fundraising goals are met. As we collaborate with one another, and many associations who have built a community arena, you will discover the need for "all hands on deck".
Members of the Hockey & Ice board associations, members from within and outside the program(s), state/local governments and the Becker & Big Lake school districts will play key roles in the success of these goals.
